Meet Alondra, salon owner and founder of The A Lifestyle. Alondra is a licensed cosmetologist with over 13 years of experience in the beauty industry. She began her journey in high school and obtained her license at 17 years old. She worked as an assistant and a full time stylist at local salons in high school, college and post secondary school. After graduating with her Masters Degree in HR, she worked full time at L’Oreal with their retail/ professional products customer support team. Her corporate background in the beauty industry gives her a full round experience that elevates her craft and professionalism. YAlondra provides a top tier level of service and a luxe experience for her clientele. We are grateful for our existing clientele and welcome new lovely faces to our space. Location: Sola Salons 10 South Ave Studio 14, Garwood,NJ 07027. Please enter the double doors and into the studios , the doors are always open during operating hours. After hours, please dial (014) on the call box to be buzzed in. Proceed straight through the esthetics and spa area and our studio is to the left (14). Please enter the studio at your designated appointment time frame, if you do arrive early you may wait on the bench in front of the suite until you are welcomed inside. Free parking spaces are next to the Sola Salons building. Hours of operation: * Our booking calendar remains open 30 days in advance from today’s date. * Please note that extra guests or kids are not allowed at appointments.  * Please note that our services are by appointment only. * There is a 15 minute grace period, if you are running late please call or text the salon 201.479.0302 prior to your appointment. * Clients arriving after the 15 minute grace period can result in a cancelled appointment. A 15 minute grace period is allowed without a late fee, at 15-20 minutes a late fee of $15.00 will be added to your appointment (if time permits). After 25 minutes will result to a canceled appointment. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Please try your best to be on time. * We will do our best to make any accommodations the day of your appointment if our schedule permits. We strive to respect our clients appointment time so if we are running behind schedule we will let you know prior to your appointment and honor any accommodations for inconveniences. 
 
Deposits:  * Deposits are required at the time of booking for services. * Deposits will be credited towards your total balance and are non-refundable/ non- transferable. If you cancel your appointment the deposit is forfeited. If you decide that you no longer want a service that requires a deposit you cannot transfer it to another service. (Non-transferable deposits). 

Confirmations:  * For your scheduled appointment, you will receive an email and text of the date and time requested for select services.  * You will then receive an email and text confirming if your appointment date and time has been accepted or declined.  * An email and a text reminder will be sent 1 day prior to your appointment. * Please make sure your contact information is up to date and correct to receive those notifications. Same day cancellations or no show appointments do result in a 50% fee. * Please note that we are unable to make last minute changes to your appointment, if you need to change the appointment type you will only be allowed to do so 5 days in advance. Please do text (201-479-0302) to make changes to your hair appointment. 
 Cancellations:  *  If you would like to cancel or reschedule your appointment you may do so on your confirmation email. You are allowed up to 1 reschedule and 1 cancellation, an attempt to move your appointment again will result in a declined appointment and will no longer have access to request any future services. * We are very accommodating under certain circumstances, if you need to reschedule, you have the ability to do so 48 hrs prior to your confirmed appointment. Your deposit will be credited to your new appointment time and date. (For 1 reschedule only).  * You may change or cancel your appointment within 48 hrs of your scheduled appointment date/time by clicking on the confirmation email. (For example: if your appointment is on Friday, 10:00am you could cancel or reschedule by Wednesday, 9:59am via the scheduling site).  * Same day cancellations, 24hr cancellations, and no shows will result in a 50% cancellation fee of your total scheduled hair services. Failure to capture cancellation fees will result in a ban of all services.  * No show clients without paying the associated fees will be banned and will no longer be able to request any services at The A Lifestyle Salon. * The cancellation fee is to be paid prior to rescheduling your appointment and will be charged to the card on file.  

Waiting list: * If you do not see any available appointments our calendar is fully committed and  booked. * If you would like to be placed on the cancellation list, please fill out the waiting list form with your name, phone number, preferred date, time, service and availability.  * You will be contacted via email or text when a cancellation occurs. If  clients on the waiting list cannot commit to the date/time of when the cancellation occurs we will post our availability via instagram. (@the.alifestyle) for interested clients. Please put on your post notifications if you would like to be alerted when availability is posted.  Payments: •We accept a card on file, Apple Pay, Visa, Master card, Amex with a 3% card transaction fee that will be applied during check out. • We also do accept exact cash payments. • Gratuity is appreciated but not required and can be added during check out via our POS system or via zelle, cash, cash app or Venmo.

Cancellation Policy

We ask that you please reschedule or cancel at least 2 days before the beginning of your appointment. Same day cancellation and no show clients will result to a 50% charged to the card on file. The cancellation fee must be paid prior to re-booking a new service. If you would like to reschedule your appointment please do so within 48hours of your scheduled appointment to avoid any fees. Deposits for selected services are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
